The Museum
Six thousand years ago several civilizations around Mesopotamia started to produce beer. Portugal is an heir of that tradition. The first Museum of beer in Portugal was founded in Lisbon to celebrate this tradition alongside with Angola, Brazil, Mozambique, Cape Verde and Saint Tomé and Prince. Where beer is, there is also exquisite gastronomy and fine snacks. That's why along with the museum there is the Beer House, a place with a unique ambience. In the Beer House the codfish cake and other snacks complement beer in perfection.

The Beer House
In the first floor there is the Beer House, a space of celebration of life where fellowship is associated with the flavors of beer and good food. Here the evening conviviality is made with the typical Lisbon steaks, with the codfish cake and seafood, everything with a good beer of course. This exquisite gastronomy is associated with the most important beers of the Portuguese speaking countries. An association that makes this moment a unique one. The Museum of Beer has a large terrace with 380 seats with a wonderful sight to the river.

Conference Tour
On the last day of the conference and after the Closing Session we would like to invite all participants to come and discover a charming Lisbon, full of places of interest that extends through the Rio Tejo (Tagus river). Come and enjoy a unique panoramic view aboard the Ship Opera in a 3 hour river tour.
Ship Opera
Built in 1978, purposely to navigate the waters of the Tagus river, carrying passengers between the banks, to complement the existing railway network, the ship always belonged to the same owner until 2006, when it changed ownership in order to start operating also in the river Tagus but in the maritime/tourism activity. In 2006/2007, reconverted and totally refurbished, it no longer has in its interior the typical arrangement of a passenger ship, becoming a ship destined to events and sightseeing. Currently operating under the name "Ópera", the ship is designed to navigate the Tagus River, providing pleasant walks allowing the enjoyment of the magnificent conditions on board.
